This course provides the student with a detailed introduction to all factors associated with aviation safety. 

The topic will include current aviation programs and how and why they originated. 

The student will learn the concepts of risk assessment and risk management and exposure to current aviation safety programs and their implementation. 

A review of accidents and accident investigations will be studied throughout the course, focusing on causal and contributing factors.
